Real estate prices in Armenia continue to fall, the Aykakan Zhamanak newspaper writes, referring to official sources.   According to a source, even in the capital real estate prices fall. So, as of November of last year the average price for sq.m in an apartment house in Yerevan made 649 dollars while in November, 2011 I made 675 dollars. Thus, on the average in Yerevan apartments fell in price for 4%. The number of transactions on real estate purchase and sale – was significantly reduced by 17,6% also. "It directly reflects a difficult social status in Armenia", - authors of the publication note.   The newspaper "Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun" notes that recession is registered practically in all spheres of public services. According to data of authors of the publication, recession is registered practically in all points of sale of food, at fairs of clothes and in hairdressing salons. Businessmen explain it to that the country for last year left a large number of citizens. Authors of the publication also note that in the current year restaurant business in Armenia on New Year's holidays left only at the expense of big number of tourists Russia. "Practically at all restaurants on New Year's Eve there was a large number of Russians. A large number of Russians was observed as well outside Yerevan – in recreation areas – in Tsakhkadzora, Agveran, Dilizhan and away", - is noted in the publication.   Along with the general falling, the Aykakan Zhamanak newspaper states rise in prices for cigarettes with the filter of local production. Each pack of cigarettes of local production rose in price on 15-20 dramas. Soon, also imported cigarettes will rise in price. Rise in price of this type of production, note in the publication, it is connected with increase of level of an excise tax which according to the law since January first will make 140 dramas for a pack of cigarettes against 125 dramas existing earlier. Differently, each pack of cigarettes will rise in price for 15 dramas. For imported cigarettes the excise tax will raise on 10 dramas and will make 160 dramas.
